| Continuity is a bit strange here. They're re-establishing that Buu is the reason Vegetto's fusion was undone, even though DBS established that it was because of a previously unknown time limit. Also in DBS, Kaioshin said he used the Dragon Balls to undo his fusion. Very weird and unnecessary. Still, it was a fun episode, and I look forward to the rest of the series. |

| 3/5, I was hoping for some Chibi DB, but instead got a recap that made my brain hurt, Pilaf's Gang 2.0, possible Zamasu 2.0 (PLEASE NO) and needing to change Goten and Trunks diapers. I like the demon realm thing, as we got hell hell in original dragon ball, then a different hell hell in DBZ and in DBZ we had supreme king of the demon realm, so playing off of that demon realm is nice. That old guy is CRACKED (since they are making EVERYONE involved in defeat, does that mean EVERYONE, because could swear saw like ChiChi and Bulma shrinking too which likely means everyone involved in spirit bomb. Wouldn't that de-age Dende too? My guess is Dragon Balls will vanish after this wish due to Dende age change. |

| Very happy to be able to watch Dragon Ball as it airs globally. Specially that it's this show. It appears that this might bring back a bit of that adventure element of early Dragon Ball. Sadly no Spanish dub, and I didn't really like some translation desitions from Crunchyroll's subs. Now I'm not that big into Dragon Ball lore but I do find that interesting - the fact that everyone with pointy ears comes from the Demon Realm (King Piccolo was Daimao Piccolo iirc). Feels like a nice plot thread to set up and explore. Really looking forward to see how this develops. AFAIK Toriyama-sensei said that it'll deal with some of the mysteries from the DB world. Happy to celebrate Toriyama-sensei's legacy this way! Also I love Shen Long, he's not a meanie genie or a monkey's paw, he always makes sure you get your wish fulfilled as close as you want it. Not something you see much in fiction. |

| @JaysonNnN canon but it's like its own thing I guess, maybe a prequel to DBS but it wouldn't make sense to me that it is. Takes place after buu saga I think they explained it well enough in this ep xD |

Wow, i love the animation and art style!
Was very nostalgic to see Buu Arc get shown reanimated. Great idea to explore more of the Demon realm which we never really got things on except lackluster stuff like bits in Xenoverse or Super Dragon Ball Heroes, that are probably all not canon either way.
I love the new characters, it gives me already great adventure and fun vibes.
Also, whaaaaaaat!? Namekians are originally from the Demon realm? That's sick new info. Gotta look out for more pointy eared beings now :D
One thing i was confused about is, when this takes place. So obviously after the Buu Arc but before Super?
But why is Dende small then? Wasn't he bigger, more teen like in the Buu Arc already? Is this just another inconsistency in DB because Toriyama/Toei forgot?
Also what a day for DB fans, Sparking Zero AND Daima releasing. I just wish Akira Toriyama would still be here to witness the joy more of his work brings to the world.

| First time watching anything DB related and it was a pretty cool pilot episode. It's always nice to see an extended first episode to not hold back on the setting and whatnot. First half of the episode featured the slide screens which I'm assuming was some kind of recap but I couldn't make much of it obviously. No kame-hama yet ;-; Concept of travelling through space was interesting, code number, planet classifications and whatnot. Cool theme song in the end of the episode too, I suppose that's going to be the first Op of this anime-original entry. Got to catch up on the franchise, this will serve as a real reminder... |

| now this looks good, db is eating good off that one piece animation just like with the broly movie. db was my first ever anime so seeing goku and the gang back on screen after so long is like coming full circle and it was nice to see the reanimated parts. the ED song slaps as well and seems this'll be a fun time. |

| Buu has a gas that disrupts fusions? I would of just said his magic interferes with the magic of the potara. New Demon Realm kaioshin look pretty neat. But Shin's little brother Degesu reminds me a lot of how cocky early shin was. I wonder if he'll mellow out over the course of Daima. |
